Prevention at Touchstone
Building Healthier Futures
At Touchstone, our Prevention Department plays a vital role in promoting wellness and resilience across our communities. Rooted in the principles of public and behavioral health, prevention focuses on proactive strategies that reduce risk factors, strengthen protective factors, and support long-term well-being—before challenges arise.
Funded through grants, our prevention programs allow us to make a meaningful impact by providing education, resources, and community-based initiatives that empower youth, families, schools, and neighborhoods. These efforts are essential in addressing behavioral health needs early, reducing stigma, and fostering environments where individuals can thrive.
Together, we’re creating a healthier, more resilient future—one community at a time.
CARE Coalition
The Community Alliance for Resources and Education (CARE) Coalition unites, informs, and empowers the community to positively impact youth through collaborative planning and action. We aim to create a more resilient community through optimal adolescent health. The CARE Coalition, led by Touchstone Health Services, is a community-driven initiative focused on promoting adolescent health and well-being across the West Valley. The coalition brings together diverse stakeholders in quarterly meetings—including schools, healthcare providers, youth-serving organizations, local governments, and community leaders—to collaboratively address the root causes of youth risk behaviors. By aligning community resources, sharing best practices, and fostering cross-sector collaboration, the coalition enhances the reach and impact of these evidence-based programs. Together, they work to build protective factors, empower youth, and create safer, healthier communities. If you are interested in attending please check out our website at carecoalitionaz.org.
